HopBedrock doesn't collect any data. There's no account, no analytics, no tracking and no HopBedrock server. Everything below is just to be specific about what the app keeps on your device and what it sends over the network.
What stays on your device
- The servers you save: their names, addresses and ports.
- A few settings, like whether you've seen the welcome screen.
- How many free hops you've used, kept in your device's keychain.
- While HopBedrock is open, a list of recent joins, with the player's name and device type as the game reports them. This is only kept in memory and is gone when you leave the screen or close the app.
None of this is sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes it, apart from the free hop count in the keychain.
What goes over the network
- Your local network. HopBedrock answers the game's search for LAN worlds and talks to the console that joins it, all on your own Wi-Fi.
- The server you pick. HopBedrock looks up the server's address so it can tell your console where to go. Your console then connects to that server directly. What that server does with your connection is up to the server, not HopBedrock.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and HopBedrock only learns whether the unlock has been bought. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.
Children
HopBedrock collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
